How can a place leave traces on our bodies? And which scars become witnesses to society's violence? Research shows that the place you live gives an indication of your social status and how that in turn affects your longevity and physical and mental health. The work About place, exile and scars is my mother's story. It is also part of a collective process that was presented in 2010-2021 under the name MAMA:AMI:MOTHERS. ​ The work has been purchased by the Swedish Arts Council and Botkyrka Art Gallery.
