Mami:Ama:Mödrar (2020-2021)
Artistic intervention and exhibition through self organized Open call.

The artistic intervention manifested through a collective process where I was the initiator through an Open call. Artists and cultural workers came together and we collectively create an exhibition that illuminated and embodied the stories of our woking class mothers. During the exhibition time he artist activated their work through a series of workshops open to the local community.

"We are the children who witnessed how our mothers' lives were torn apart by a labor market with low wages and tiring manual labor, mothers who were thrown out of the system straight into poverty. Their lives are a reflection of an economic system based on inequality which has contributed to their downfall. As children, we want to break the silence and isolation that surrounded our mothers' lives. We want to write their stories into history and talk about the strengths, cares and declarations of love that moved in silence."

The exhibition was created in collaboration with Botkyrka art gallery, with a vernissage on August 29, 2020 and was shown until January 16, 2021.
