This is how the video piece begins. For many, exile is inherited and in many cases the older generation has dissociated themselves from the trauma and do not often share their experiences with younger generations. My father fled from persecution and dictatorship in Chile during the 70's. In this work there is a search for understanding what is said between the lines. The stories that for many stay untold.
